A collection of some of Dr. Seuss's most iconic artwork has returned to San Diego County.

According to FOX5, the collection is located inside the Exclusive Collections Gallery at the Cedros Design District in Solana Beach.

The gallery will feature familiar original pieces like "The Cat in the Hat," "Horton Hears A Who!," "Green Eggs and Ham," and just in time for the holidays "How The Grinch Stole Christmas."

Along with original renderings and illustrations, the collection also features never-before-seen paintings.

While the gallery shows a collection of paintings year-round, this collection has unique paintings by Dr. Seuss that were never released to the public.

“A lot of people don’t know that Theodore Geisel was a painter,” Ruth Ann Thorn, owner of EC Gallery, told FOX5. “And so he created things like this at night just for his own pleasure. He really enjoyed painting. He didn’t really ever show it to the public.”

According to Thorn, when he passed, his wife brought his paintings to the public, "so we were able to just see how creative he was.”

The collection will be free to the public until December 31. Dr. Seuss book readings will also occur every Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
