A new bakery in the South Bay is bringing their 'pudge' cookies to residents all over the Bay Area.
Batch 22 Bakery is a small operation run out of a licensed home kitchen in Cupertino. That's where baker Amy Wong crafts her six-ounce cookies with a gooey center known as "pudges."
In an interview with Eater San Francisco, Wong explained that her brother gave them the name because "they're so fat."
Now, Batch 22 is available for pickup and delivery across the Bay. You can order half a dozen pudges at any time although their flavors rotate seasonally.
Some of their flavors include chocolate chips, matcha, and cocoa, pumpkin spice.
Eventually, Wong wants to open her own storefront for her unique cookies. But for now, customers can pick up or have their order delivered either directly through the website for South Bay customers or through Pastel for the rest of the Bay Area.
According to their website, per-order are due by 11:00 P.M. every Tuesday and then are delivered on Thursday and available for pickup on Fridays from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M.
