Substitute Teacher Who Sang Britney Spears ‘Relieved Of Duty’ [VIDEO]

A substitute teacher in Austin was relieved of his duty after he was filmed singing Britney Spears's “Toxic” on a karaoke machine in front of a classroom at Bowie High School on Friday.

The teacher was asked to leave after the first period for failing to follow the district’s “best practices.”

“I’ve heard worse Britney Spears covers, but the lights are a bit much,” said an AISD spokesperson. According to rumors, the man was a prankster posing as a teacher, although he had followed all of the required steps to be a substitute teacher.

“All processes were followed, it was simply a case of a substitute not following our practices,” said the district spokesperson.
