In 1975, a 13-year old Jon Bon Jovi, known then as John Bongiovi, wanted a guitar.

“I looked around and there's no guitar and I tried to pull that Santa Claus stuff right there,” Bon Jovi said. “I was 13 and they weren't going for it. I explained to my parents that I really wanted this thing and there wasn't one.”
