Celebrity Guests Bailing Out Of NOLA Fan Expo Because Of Omicron Surge

The roster of pop-culture celebrities scheduled to appear at Fan Expo New Orleans this weekend is growing shorter.

Organizers warned ticket holders on Wednesday that a number of famous guests have canceled because of omicron concerns.

Ming-Na Wen, co-star of "The Book of Boba Fett," has bailed out, along with filmmaker Kevin Smith, actress Christina Ricci, and various comic-book guests.

Still expected to appear are William Shatner and New Orleans actor Anthony Mackie, who's busy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
