It's easy to get caught up going to the same restaurants and eating the same kinds of food. But in a great foodie area like Southern California, you're probably missing out on some world-class eats. Luckily, Yelp has compiled a list of the highest-rated restaurants in the SoCal area you can check out.

So which local restaurant is the highest-rated in SoCal?

According to Yelp, it's the SmoKING Ribs in Garden Grove! The restaurant's Yelp page is flooded with enthusiastic 5-star reviews talking about the attentive service and mouth-watering BBQ.

On their page, the Business Owner Kenny T., writes, "We started smoking meats in 1999 from our backyard and transitioned to a commercial bbq catering business in 2010 called "Bolsa BBQ." This is our first brick/mortar store and we are very pleased for this new phase in our business."
