LASD Disperses Crowd Gathered Outside The Roxy Theater

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - West Hollywood sheriff's deputies dispersed a crowd estimated at 1,000 people tonight outside the Roxy Theater.  

The call about the crowd that gathered at the Roxy, at 9009 Sunset Blvd., came in at 7:57 p.m., according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Tracy Koerner.  

``It appears the venue oversold the event,'' Koerner said. ``Too many people and not enough tickets.''  

It was unclear who the crowd had come out to see.  

No arrests were reported, Koerner said.
