The site had to find a way to re-route payments to Russian creators after international sanctions hit

Cry me a river, I know...Well, a bunch of adult stars in Russia making a living by performing on OnlyFans were briefly out of luck when international sanctions came after the Russian attack on Ukraine. They said some of these sanctions would be hard-hitting, well, here you go!! Not to worry though, as you may have heard in the news, despite sanctions, there's a lot of remaining 'loopholes' that still still allow money to still move electronically in and out of Russia. As of this writing, the Russian OnlyFans creators are indeed being paid once again.
