These Three San Diego Resorts Are Ranked Best In California

U.S. News & World Report has ranked three San Diego area resorts as the best in the state. One resort even landed in the top spot and also ranked on another one of the website's national lists.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, The Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa was named the No. 1 resort in California and also the fourth-best hotel in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. The other local resorts include the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in Carmel Valley (No. 2), the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad (No. 3), and The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla (No. 9).

On the list of best hotels in California, the Fairmont Grand Del Mar ranked No. 4 and No. 23 nationally, the Park Hyatt ranked No. 5 and No. 23 nationally, and The Lodge at Torrey Pines ranked No. 17.
