Seattle Seahawks Delete A Tweet About Trading Russell Wilson [We Have It]

The Seahawks are trading quarterback Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos. Multiple reports say Denver is sending two first-round draft picks, two second-round picks, and quarterback Drew Lock to Seattle. The Seahawks are also getting tight end Noah Fant, defensive end Shelby Harris, and a fifth-round pick. Denver receives a fourth-rounder to go with Wilson. ESPN reports Wilson approved the trade and passed his physical on Tuesday.

After the trade, the Seahawks tweeted a video of Tom Hanks in “Castaway,” where he frantically searches for his best friend and volleyball, Wilson. Hilarious, right? It went viral, and then the team took it down. Chickens!

The #Seahawks tweet reached over 82,000 likes earlier but they now deleted it.

I assume a lot of Seahawks fans didn't appreciate their team making jokes about losing their franchise QB.
