The Weeknd Set For “The Simpsons”

The Weeknd is fulfilling a lifelong dream this weekend. The singer is set to appear as a character on Sunday’s episode of “The Simpsons,” called “Bart the Cool Kid.”

The episode finds Homer Simpson getting local dads together to fight against a child skate-wear influencer.

The appearance is something The Weeknd has wanted to do for a long time. In a previous interview for Variety he said being on the long-time series was a “bucket list” item, adding, “I actually have a pretty cool idea if they’re down.”
