Video Of San Diego Police Officer Playing Accordion Goes Viral

An officer from the San Diego Police Department is going viral after he broke out his accordion skills at a bonfire. According to CBS8, Officer Gary Gonzales with the SDPD was on duty on Fiesta Island when he noticed a group gathered around a bonfire.

After informing the group that the bonfire wasn't safe, Gonzales showed off his accordion skills and began playing a song with them. SDPD uploaded the video and it's gained over 650,000 views on TikTok and has been going viral on the department's social media accounts.

"Sometimes, we never know where our shift will take us," wrote SDPD in a Facebook post. "After some smiles and memories made, the group agreed to control the bonfire."
