Two San Diego Rooftop Bars Are Rated Top In The U.S.

Two local spots made it to Yelp's best-reviewed rooftop bars in the U.S. and Canada. According to Yelp, the survey ranked rooftop bars based on factors like the overall number of ratings and the positivity of those reviews.

So which San Diego rooftop spots made the list? Kettner Exchange in Little Italy and Lumi in the Gaslamp Quarter!

Kettner Exchange is well known for its harbor views and open-air seating that features private cabanas that can be reserved for parties of up to 15 people. Here's what one Yelp reviewer Mark M., had to say about the spot:

"If you’re in the mood for good vibes, great-tasting, shared-style cuisine, fun drinks, and a live DJ all on an open-air rooftop, Kettner is your place! Top tip – for a sundown experience, make a reservation between 5pm and 6pm. You’ll be able to experience the rooftop as the day turns from day to night.”

Lumi is a recent addition to San Diego's food scene. Its opening was highly anticipated as its run by world-renowned celebrity chef Akira Back. Diners can feast on fresh sushi above the busy Gaslamp Quarter. One Yelp reviewer Justin M. said, "Delicious sushi, great music spun live from a DJ, and perfect service. Nightlife, delicacies, and a downtown view."
