Fans attending the 'Young Guns' tour stop in New York City Monday night got an extra special treat during Dirty Honey's set when legendary New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist joined the band on guitar.

Dirty Honey singer Marc LaBelle introduced Lundqvist as someone who's "played the Garden more times than Billy Joel, Elton John and Bruce Springsteen combined."

LaBelle then shed his leather jacket to don a blue number 30 Lundqvist jersey.

He continued: "They threw his number up in the rafters a few weeks ago. Ladies and gentlemen, make some noise on the guitar for Henrik F---ing Lundqvist."

He recalled asking the goalie what song he'd like to play, and complimented him for choosing Dirty Honey's "The Wire," as opposed to a classic cover that he's been playing for years.

The Swedish-born Lundqvist played his entire 15-season NHL career with the Rangers before retiring last year. The franchise retired his number 30 in January. Lundqvist made his broadcast debut with MSG Networks this season as an analyst.
