California Woman Arrested For Car Theft Drives Another Stolen Car To Court

A California woman was due to make a court appearance on Monday, March 28, in Dublin after she was arrested for stealing a car. According to Dublin police, the woman committed the same crime to get to her court appearance.
Police said the woman, 41-year-old Brandy Jones, used a different stole car to get to her court appearance. "DPS units located the 41 yo suspect at ECHOJ (East County Hall of Justice) in possession of a stolen vehicle," wrote the Dublin Police in a tweet on Wednesday, March 30. When Jones arrived at the Dublin courthouse, authorities determined she was driving a stolen vehicle.

Immediately after her court appearance, authorities took the woman back to Santa Rita Jail, which is less than a mile away according to KRON4.
