Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford is following up his Confess memoir with another tome, Biblical: Rob Halford's Heavy Metal Scriptures.

After the brutal honesty of Confess, Halford joked that his "penitence" is complete. His new book is described as a "lively encyclopedia and manifesto" on the rock and roll lifestyle. That includes everything from touring, tattoos, guitar riffs and contract riders.

And who better to enlighten us on all of those subjects than The Metal God, himself?

"After my penitence with Confess, it's time for me to be Biblical and take our congregation through all the ins and outs and ups and downs of what it takes to make the life of the Metal God," Halford said in a statement. "So get comfy in your pew and prepare for the light of revelations by becoming Biblical!"

Biblical is set to arrive November 1, 2022, via Hachette Books.

Halford and his Judas Priest bandmates could be Rock and Roll Hall of Famers by the time Biblical arrives. The band will get the news later this month.

The band recently completed a North American tour celebrating the band's 50th anniversary. The tour will rumble through Europe this summer. Go here for the tour dates.
