AAA: Statewide Average Gas Price In Louisiana Up One Cent From Last Week

The AAA Weekend Gas Watch says, as of Friday, the statewide average gas price in Louisiana is $3.86 a gallon for regular unleaded.

That price is up around one cent from a week ago and $1.25 more than a year ago.

The national average stood at $4.12.

Crude oil prices are climbing and gasoline supplies are up, but slightly lower pump prices lately are driving up demand.

The average price at the pump in Baton Rouge is $3.85. In New Orleans, it's $3.93.
