A lovesick electrician in India became something of a pariah in his village after it was discovered that he had been cutting the power to his community in order to meet his girlfriend under the cloak of darkness. According to a local media report, the romantic misadventure unfolded earlier this month in the town of Ganeshpur following a series of inexplicable blackouts that occurred like clockwork over the course of several evenings and lasted around three hours at a time. With only their village falling victim to the outages, residents grew suspicious that something sinister was afoot and rumors soon swirled around a local electrician said to be madly in love.
