WATCH: Grandfather Fights Kangaroo That Attacked His Dogs

What would you do to protect your dogs? A grandfather in Australia can truthfully say “fight a kangaroo” after having a six-minute-long battle with what he called “six-foot mad roo” in his yard in Argyle, Australia while his dogs barked from behind the fence in the man’s back yard.

Cliff Dess tried using a stick to beat the kangaroo back, then wrestled it to the ground as he says that was “the only way I could deal with it.” Dess says the animal gouged him on top of the head with a claw and bit his finger before he got away.
