The latest teaser trailer for Amazon’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” series gives us a better look at the show set within J.R.R. Tolkien’s world. Amazon Studios started development of “The Rings of Power” in 2017, spending $250 million just to secure the rights and a reported $465 million on the eight-episode first season; Prime Video’s commitment is reportedly to produce five seasons of what will likely be the most expensive television show in history.
