USGS Confirms Earthquake Near Homeland Park

(Homeland Park, SC)-- The U.S. Geological Survey is confirming a 2.1 magnitude earthquake in the Upstate.

 It happened four miles southeast of Homeland Park in Anderson County around 2 a.m. Thursday. 

This is nowhere near the swarm of earthquakes near Elgin.

 In that area, dozens of quakes have been reported since December.
