Still can't believe we lost the legendary Kobe Bryant two years ago, it seems so unreal😔💔
Los Angeles celebrates the legacy of Kobe every year on August 24th, which are the two numbers the "Black Mamba" wore while playing with the Lakers. Today many celebrities along with his wife Vanessa Bryant, took to social media to pay their respects to Kobe and express what his presence meant to them.
Also today at sunset, the Santa Monica Pier Ferris wheel will light up in purple and gold colors along with the numbers "8" and "24." There is also a new mural that was created at the offices of the West Coast Trial Lawyers on South Hope Street near the 12th Street in Downtown L.A. Check out what celebrities posted about Kobe today and click here to see where to find the various murals around the city. Head to KTLA 5 for more.

We lost a great friend but he left us with some amazing memories. This is one of my favorites on why Kobe was
a champion. #KobeBryant #VanessaBryant #Lakers #NBA #LakersDoc #Hulu https://t.co/uJOvlQSYYB pic.twitter.com/JtrKIGUc6M
