Protesters Seal Themselves In Cement Outside Starbucks

Last summer the trend among vegan protesters was to superglue themselves to the counter at various Starbucks locations to protest the chain’s 50-cent charge for non-dairy milk, but they’ve now taken things a step further. Protesters blocked the entrance to a Nashville Starbucks by embedding their feet in blocks of concrete.

The protest shut down an entire Nashville street and drew over a dozen police cars, with the participants being arrested. One of the protesters didn’t go straight to jail; they were taken to the hospital due to foot pain from the concrete.
