It's Hispanic Heritage Month and here's a FEEL GOOD story to celebrate Latino excellence!

Los Angeles' very own Dr. Frank Rubio just became the nation’s FIRST Salvadoran-American to ever blast off into space.

He lifted off this week for a 6-month mission on the International Space Station.

On top of being an astronaut, Rubio’s also a physician and former Army pilot.
