Lizzo Concert Special To Drop On HBO Max

Lizzo's "Love, Lizzo" doc just hit HBO Max over the Thanksgiving weekend - and if that's got you hungry for seconds, Lizzo's got you:

HBO Max has announced the hip hop queen's “Live in Concrt” special. It serves as continuation of sorts to the documentary, filmed during the most recent stops on her “Special” arena tour at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

HBO’s cameras were there for the sold-out Friday and Saturday night sets, as Lizzo, her band the Lizzbians and the Little Bigs, and her dancers the Big Grrrls were joined onstage by collaborators Cardi B (“Rumors”), SZA (“Special”) and Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott (who surprised Lizzo by popping onstage while she performed their hit “Tempo”).

The concert special debuts December 31. "“I think people are really going to enjoy seeing the concert. A lot of people don’t have anything to do on New Year’s Eve, so now they can pop a bottle of champagne or apple juice and they can watch the Lizzo show and it’s a great show,” Lizzo raved.
