Maren Morris Reminisces On 'Pure' Moment With Kristin Chenoweth

Maren Morris is sharing love for Kristin Chenoweth as the singers reminisce on the epic finale of Morris’ “Humble Quest Tour” in Nashville, Tennessee. Chenoweth joined the “Circles Around This Town” star on stage at Bridgestone Arena, and, sharing a few photos on her social media channels, called it “one of the best nights in a in a while 💗 I love you, [Maren Morris]. AND I love you, Nashville!!”

“It was so pure. 🫧🫧🫧,” Morris wrote in a comment on Chenoweth’s Instagram post on Wednesday (December 14), and retweeted the photos as she said: “We love you. 🫧”

Chenoweth joining Morris on stage was the perfect collaboration, after the award-winning country artist shared on her social media channels earlier this year that she would send in an audition tape to star in Wicked on Broadway. She shared an a cappella rendition of “The Wizard And I” on TikTok, and encouraged others in a tweet to “chase your weird dreams down.” Chenoweth, who starred as Glinda in the original Wicked production (alongside Idina Menzel as Elphaba), was quick to offer Morris support.
