Carly Pearce is taking a moment to reflect on some of her biggest milestones of 2022 as the year comes to a close, and hinting at big plans for 2023.

Pearce’s highlight reel included tons of notable moments throughout the year, including her fiery CMT Music Awards performance, her Academy of Country Music Awards victory, sharing the stage with a few other superstar artists — including Kelsea Ballerini, Wynonna Judd and Kelly Clarkson — her Country Music Association Awards tribute to Loretta Lynn, and her first-ever headlining performances at the historic Ryman Auditorium, to name a few.

“Y’all 🥹,” Pearce gushed in her emotional caption on Instagram. “It’s hard to remember at the end of each year what all has happened. Life moves REALLY fast & it’s easy when the dust settles around this time, to wonder ‘did I have a good year?’… then I watch this. With tears currently falling down my face, THANK YOU. Thank you for another unbelievably awesome, unexpected, blessed, exhausting, dream come true year. I have a lot to share in 2023, so I have a feeling it might be our best yet 🥲♥️”

Pearce has already confirmed that she’s been writing new music and is working on her next album, following her smash-hit 2021 project, 29: Written in Stone. That collection included “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” with Ashley McBryde, “Next Girl,” “Diamondback,” “What He Didn’t Do” and other fan-favorite tracks. Pearce premiered the “What He Didn’t Do” music video, and said at the time that it signaled the end of her 29 era as she looks ahead to the next chapter in her career.

“I think what fans have shown me is they want to see how I see the world,” Pearce previously said of the inspirations for her next album, in a statement shared by her record label. “So, it’s been an interesting process of coming out of a season of my life that was so hard and transitioning into one that, yes, is so much fuller and richer, but also still a hard way to come out of. You don’t just blink your eyes one day and you’re healed, or you don’t just wake up one day and say, everything’s great, and yay! So, I think this one is just a chapter of my life that’s more navigating a new season, navigating to me, the best season of my life, honoring what I have been through, honoring that some of those things will live on with me as I carry through my life. And celebrating that I made it through in such a wonderful way.”
