Pour One Out: Pepsi is Getting Rid of Sierra Mist

Time to pour one out in remembrance of the soon to be gone Sierra Mist soda.

Pepsi says that despite Sierra Mist being on the market for 24 years, it never cut into Coca-Cola's Sprite sales because people just saw it as a poorer imitation.

Company executives announced that it is dumping the original lemon-lime soda and will launch a new version called Starry which will be "fruitier and more aromatic" than Sierra Mist.

The drink comes in regular and sugar-free versions and will be available this week in grocery and convenience stores.
