The folks at Guilty Eats have decided to compile a list of the Top 10 burgers in America. The hamburger dates back to the years between 1885 and 1904 per Wikipedia and here are the 10 that have been decided to be the best.

10 Top Notch Beefburgers – Chicago – this burger is served on toasted rye instead of a bun but according to Guilty Eats once you have tried this one there will be no regrets.

9 Palace Diner – Biddeford, Maine – their burger comes on a sesame seed bun and supposedly takes the Big Mac from McDonald’s to an entirely new level.

8 Workingman’s Friend – Indianapolis, IN – this 100-year-old establishment smashes their burgers and their version of the “smash burger” is top-notch.

7 Ray’s Hell Burger – Arlington, VA – former president Barack Obama is a fan of this burger so Guilty Eats people say you need to try it just because of that.

6. Bazaar Meat – Las Vegas - this one is a blend of short rib and Wagyu served on a sesame bun and is large in size making it a winner.

5. The Big Mac – McDonald’s Locations – one of only two fast-food burgers to make the list, the Big Mac needs no introduction and is everything that a burger should be.

4. The Original Slider/White Castle Locations – these burgers were introduced in 1921 and are the only other fast-food burgers to make the cut but they are sad to make the culinary cut for flavor.

3 Peter Luger – Brooklyn, NY – a simple classic burger that combines a large size and big flavor because of the beef and it’s worth going across the bridge to Brooklyn to try one.

2 The long lost Lola Burger – this burger has gone the way of the pandemic but the Lola Burger was around for 24 years in Cleveland and is sorely missed.

1 The Smash Burger at Michael Symon’s Mabel’s BBQ – Woodmere, Ohio – a variation of the “smash burger” checks in at #1 on the list because of its great flavor.
