WATCH: Murder Suspect Attacks Her Attorney In Court

A competency hearing at a Wisconsin court for a woman accused of murdering and beheading a man took a wild turn when Taylor Schabusiness, 25, attacked her defense attorney, Quinn Jolly.

Schabusiness is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and third-degree sexual assault for allegedly killing and dismembering Shad Thyrion last February.

She pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. Her attorney was trying to argue that Schabusiness was not competent to stand trial and asked Judge Thomas Walsh to delay the trial to give them more time for an expert to finish a report on her competency.

After Judge Walsh agreed to suspend the competency hearing until March 6, Schabusiness attacked Jolly. Several deputies rushed over and wrestled Schabusiness to the ground. She was eventually subdued and appeared to have no recollection of what happened. According to WBAY, Schabusiness asked deputies what happened.

“You went off on your attorney, Taylor. You went crazy on your attorney,” they told her.

After order was restored to the courtroom, Jolly told the judge that he planned to file a motion to withdraw from the case.
