Kacey Musgraves Reflects On A Life-Changing Moment 10 Years Later

It’s been 10 years since Kacey Musgraves released her iconic album, Same Trailer Different Park, and the trailblazing singer-songwriter took a moment to reflect on the unforgettable project on its anniversary.

“I can’t really comprehend that it’s been TEN YEARS since I released Same Trailer Different Park,” Musgraves wrote in an Instagram caption on Wednesday (March 1). She continued, crediting designers Drew Tetz and Mackenzie Moore as she shared how she’s commemorating the collection. “This collection of songs means everything to me and we just designed the most dreamy zoetrope limited-edition vinyl to commemorate. 🏹 Watch the record spin under a bright light through your phone camera to see the animation come to life. …Grateful for the past ten and looking forward to the next ten and whatever songs they may hold.”

Musgraves’ 12-track album famously included career-defining fan-favorite songs throughout its track list, including “Merry Go ‘Round,” “Follow Your Arrow,” “Blowin’ Smoke” and more. The award-winning country artist further reflected on her major-label debut album in a reel set to “Merry Go ‘Round,” spotlighting the limited-edition design.
