Hunter Hayes dropped two more tracks as fans eagerly-await the release of his first-ever, fully independent album. “Victory” and “About a Boy” bookend Hayes’ upcoming project, Red Sky, which is due next month.

“About A Boy is an apologetic realization while Victory is about growth and healing,” Hayes explained of the two new songs as they made their debut on Wednesday (March 8). “I’ve quoted victory more times than I can count and I’ve been promising About A Boy since playing it for the first time 3 years ago. I’m so relieved to tell you they are both out everywhere now and I can’t wait for you to hear them!”

Hayes’ two newest songs join previously-released anthems that quickly became fan-favorites, including “Lonely Loves Me,” “Someone Will,” “Could’ve Been You,” “Missing You” and others. The country singer-songwriter — who will kick off the “Red Sky Tour” in May — has waited more than a decade to say that his first fully independent album is slated to release, after three years in the making: “This project is about the adventure of finding yourself to be yourself. Musically, it’s a road trip from where I’ve been to where I am. Lyrically, it’s for anyone who needs a reminder of how unique your fire inside is and how much the world needs more YOU in it. I’m so grateful to all the people who helped me bring this music and this message to life! I’ve never been more proud of a body of work than I am of RED SKY and I cannot wait for APRIL 21st to give it to YOU so you can make it YOURS.”
