Chris Janson took National Beer Day to a while new level with the release of his newest song and music video, “Tap That.” The country singer-songwriter unleashed his toe-tapping new anthem on Friday (April 7).
Janson teamed up with LOCASH’s Preston Brust, Brandon Kinney and Chris Lucas to write “Tap That,” serving up a “love letter to everyone’s favorite summertime partner – beer,” reads a press release announcing Janson’s song and video premiere. Janson’s drummer, Josh Daubin, directed the sunny, beach-themed music video. It was all filmed when Janson and the band had “some pre-show down time” before playing a show in the Cayman Islands.
“This is a hard rockin, party driven, beer drinkin song!” Janson said in the release. “Always have loved it, and I hope the fans love it as much as I do. Crank it UP! …We had a fun time shooting this video. My drummer, Josh, filmed it. Just hanging out with the band and family, and on the beach in the Cayman Islands. Everyone happy, and having a great time. Y’all crank this song every chance you get!”
Janson’s latest song joins previously-released fan-favorites like “All I Need Is You,” “Fix a Drink,” “Good Vibes,” “Buy Me a Boat” and many others.
