Russell Dickerson and his wife are expecting Baby No. 2!

The proud parents shared a reel on Instagram on Tuesday evening (April 11), capturing the heartwarming moments that Kailey Dickerson told her husband that she was pregnant — with a little help from the couple’s firstborn son, Remington, who turns 3 this year — and the gender reveal.

“God gave me a…. BOY!” Dickerson gushed in his caption, referencing his 2022 anthem from his self-titled album, “God Gave Me A Girl.” “So grateful we get to tell you Remington is going to be a big brother this fall!! 🎉🎉”

The video starts with Kailey holding her positive pregnancy test up to a mirror and smiling, as viewers can hear Remington saying “dada” off camera. Kailey lets Remington hold two pregnancy tests as the mother-son duo share the news with Dickerson, who immediately beams with a big smile. That moment is followed up with the gender reveal, which Dickerson admitted didn’t exactly go as planned.

“So, I wasn’t supposed to know,” he said. He was told, “’don’t open the email,’ (but) it was in the subject line.”

Dickerson set up a sweet reveal for Kailey, sharing that they’re expecting another boy this year.
