Major news for the Bay Area! The NFL has announced the Super Bowl will be retuning to Levi's Stadium in 2026! This comes exactly 10 years after Levi's hosted Super Bowl 50.
"The Bay Area was an incredible host for Super Bowl 50, and we are thrilled to bring the Super Bowl back," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. "We look forward to working with the 49ers and the Bay Area Host Committee to create an impactful Super Bowl LX in 2026 that showcases all the great things the region has to offer."
Apparently, the NFL also plans to utilize the area around Chase Center and Oracle Park for pre-Super Bowl festivities. If you were here for Super Bowl 50, then you know the entire Bay was lit! Bay Area residents responded to the news with excitement.
