Chase Rice spotlighted two powerhouse country artists whose work is pushing him to hone his craft even more, he wrote in a tweet on Monday night (June 26).

“Y'all,” Rice wrote in the tweet. “[Ashley McBryde] and [Lainey Wilson] make me know I gotta get better.” He added that the The Devil I Know and Bell Bottom Country stars are currently the “best in the game.”

Earlier this year, Rice released the project he calls “the best album of my career.” Rice’s I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell era includes powerful country anthems and deeply personal and emotional tracks, including “Key West & Colorado,” “Way Down Yonder,” “Bench Seat,” “I Hate Cowboys” and “For A Day.” The country singer-songwriter dedicated the album to his late father, whose photo appears as the album’s cover art. Rice previously told iHeartRadio, months before the collection’s release, that “it's very, very personal to me with these songs…and much more vulnerable than any other music I've made.”

McBryde announced earlier this month that her next album is slated to release soon. The Devil I Know, titled after a song on the upcoming record that released earlier this year, is due on September 8. McBryde unveiled the release date as she released her latest track, “Learned To Lie.” She said at that time: “’Learned To Lie’ is a little more of our story. Maybe more than was intended to be told. But it’s honest, and I hope you take away something positive from it. …You spoke. I listened. The Devil I Know. September 8. Buckle up.”

Though a release date isn’t on the horizon just yet, Wilson is at work on her third full-length studio album, she shared in a recent interview with PEOPLE. Wilson’s Bell Bottom Country made its debut in October 2022, including fan-favorite tracks like “Hillbilly Hippie,” “Watermelon Moonshine,” “Grease,” “Hold My Halo” and “Heart Like A Truck.” Wilson said when she released the album and announced her first-ever headlining tour: “This past year has been such a roller coaster – it’s truly been one of the most rewarding and challenging of my career. We’ve worked so hard on this album and I’m so proud of it.”
