Mother Bear and Cubs Spotted in Novato

If you live in or near Novato, police and wildlife officials are warning: watch out for bears.

On Sunday, Novato police say a mother bear and her two cubs were spotted in the area of Miwok Park.

Officials are urging the community extreme caution when entering the area - specifically in wooded areas or those containing lots of brush.
