Singer Lahrel comes through with a new collaboration with Jamaican crooner OMI.

On Friday, July 21, the U.K.-born songstress delivered her new single "Witness" featuring OMI. On the power ballad produced by Ryan "O" Dillon, Lahrel and OMI go back and forth as they profess their admiration for the loves of their lives. It's not the first song they've done together either.

"We connected and got the record done because we have a long-standing history of collaborating," Lahrel tells iHeartRadio. "It all started from me being on a world tour with him as an opening act."

"We had a bunch of songs that we had written on tour," she continued. "We had already recorded them but we were always trying to find the right time to release it. Once I got to Plum House Miami and sat with my manager Ryan Dillon and we just knew it was the right time with my new project coming."

OMI played the piano keys that you hear on the song while Dillon brought in the big band for the other instruments. In addition to her collaboration with OMI, Lahrel also delivered her new solo track "Woman No Cry." The sultry R&B jam is a shift from her other new song. She delivers soothing bars about vindicating herself and finding the strength to prevail following a tumultuous relationship.

"I was in a place where I was thinking about my relationships and how it was it was making me feel and wanting to feel tough and vindicated in this song," Lahrel said of "Woman No Cry." "The song really was about a longstanding history of domestic violence I encountered and emotional abuse and I just wanted it to be a woman's empowering song where we can talk about what happens with abuse and it makes you feel."

The music video for "Woman No Cry" drops on July 28. Listen to it now. You can also watch Lahrel and OMI talk more about their collaboration "Witness" below.
