Morgan Wade Reveals Her First Reaction To Kyle Richards Dating Rumors

Morgan Wade opened up about the rumors that she’s dating The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, pledging to “make something good out of a gossipy situation.”

Wade caught up with Kaelin from The Fred Show on KISSFM backstage at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois. That’s where she admitted it’s “weird” and “strange” that rumors have swirled that she’s dating Richards.

“I’m like, ‘just leave me alone,’” the country singer-songwriter told Kaelin about the commenters online. She added that she and Richards are “good friends, and it’s funny.

“You wake up one morning and it’s like, all this stuff about you on the internet, and I’m not used to that at all. I’m not a reality television star. I like to be left alone and write music,” Wade continued. “But now, people weren’t gonna shut up about it. We made this really sweet video, and it’s nice to be able to bring that light to a same-sex relationship in country music. I’m not mad about that. I’ve met a lot of people that are excited about that. I’m like, if we can make something good out of a gossipy situation, I’m gonna do it.”

Wade and Richards teamed up to talk about how they began talking as they teased Wade’s “Fall in Love with Me” music video, set to premiere on Thursday (August 10). 

“I’ve done several music videos and every time there’s someone in it with me, they always assume we’re dating,” Wade said in the video shared to Instagram. “If you get on the internet, you see people are obsessed with us being friends, and why we’re friends… we thought it would be kind of a good idea to poke fun at that and kind of troll the trolls a little bit. The internet’s gonna be poppin’ off about this one, I’m sure.”
