Lauren Alaina gushed that wedding planning is “getting real y’all,” as she popped a bottle of champagne and took a sip from the bottle to celebrate going to pick up her dress. The country singer-songwriter shared a heartwarming video on Instagram on Monday (August 14).

“It’s getting real y’all!! Going to finalize my dress today🥹👰‍♀️,” Alaina captioned the sweet clip (fellow country artist Breland hilariously reacted to the switch from Alaina’s signature caption style: “Are we not going to adDRESS how there was no pun in this caption?”). Instagram users quickly commented to express their excitement and happiness for the “Road Less Traveled” hitmaker.

Alaina — who recently got a sweet surprise from her soon-to-be father-in-law as she kicked off her tour dates with Pentatonix — announced her engagement to now-fiancé Cam Arnold in late 2022, introducing him as “my fiancé” on stage at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. She wrote in a caption on Instagram afterward: “BRIDE be dang’d, y’all. My best friend, [Cam Arnold], asked me to marry him, and I announced it at my favorite place in the world, [the Opry].
