Deputy John Gray With Rex Talk 'Rex Run' at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds

The Arapahoe Sheriff’s Office has a huge event coming up on August 26 called the "Rex Run" at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds. It’s a 5K run/walk to raise money for our police K9s and school therapy dogs. The event is for families and kids and we encourage everyone to bring their dogs! The Aurora Police Department K9 Unit will be there as well to support us and be a part of a live K9 demonstration.
Deputy John Gray, Rex's handler, will share all about the event and the importance of raising money for more school therapy dogs, their supplies and medical needs. All school therapy dogs serve two purposes: they are also trained to detect firearms, bombs and explosives, as well as electronic devices
