Demi Lovato, Karol G & More Set to Perform at 2023 VMAs

Demi Lovato and Karol G are set to perform at the 2023 “MTV Video Music Awards.” Lovato is returning to the VMAs stage after six years, and is nominated for Best Pop and Video for Good with her single “Swine.” Karol G is also in the running for three VMAs: “Artist of the Year,” “Best Latin,” and “Best Collaboration” for “TQG” with Shakira.

Lovato and Karol G won’t be the only performances of course, with the 2023 award show making sure to represent music from around the world. Italian rockers Måneskin and K-pop group Stray Kids are joining the line up as well! The 2023 “MTV Video Music Awards” will air on September 12th from Newark, New Jersey.

As for the awards themselves…Taylor Swift dominates the nominations with a chance to become one of the most decorated VMA artists ever. She’s up for eight awards this year, and has won 14 total in her lifetime so far…just behind Beyonce (16) and Madonna (20.) Women are killing it this year in the nominations in general - this is the first year ever that the all the Artist of the Year nominees are women!
