LeAnn Rimes Shares Sweet Selfies With Husband Eddie Cibrian As She Turns 41

LeAnn Rimes reflected on some of the most memorable moments over the past year as she looks ahead to the next one. Rimes is celebrating her birthday on Monday (August 28), turning 41. Later that night, she posted a few sweet selfies with husband Eddie Cibrian.

The award-winning country artist said “8pm is the new midnight so the celebrations have started early,” as she posted a reel on Instagram on Sunday evening (August 27), reminiscing on memories with Cibrian, powerful performances, picking up a copy of her latest full-length record and other recent adventures. “Here’s to 41 and making more fun memories over the next 365 days 🎂”

Rimes spoke with iHeartCountry last year to mark the release of god’s work, longtime-coming album that she called “a beautiful journey” that delves into a range of emotions from start to finish. She spoke about the album shortly after her 40th birthday and the anniversary of her career as a recording artist.

Celebrating 25 years before I turned 40 – it’s actually 26 years before I turned 40 – was kind of a weird milestone for me, because usually with that kind of milestone, you're much older. …I'm so grateful for the last 26 years, but I also feel like there's still so much more that I want to do, and so I feel like god's work is kind of a timestamp of the new journey, the new chapter,” Rimes said last year. “There's kind of a timestamp to god's work for me that feels very new and fresh and very much a marker of where I'm headed.”

Hundreds of Instagram users were quick to wish Rimes a happy birthday on Monday, including Brandy Clark, Ashley Monroe, fans and many others.
