Ariana Grande Surprises Fans At Pop-Up Ice Cream Shop

Some fans who dropped by Ariana Grande’s R.E.M. pop-up ice cream shop recently got more than just a sweet treat. After spending months in London filming “Wicked”, the pop star made a surprise appearance back on her home turf Tuesday, hiding behind the counter and then popping out to delight her Stans.

In a TikTok video of the event, Grande is seen crouching behind the counter and confessing how nervous she is to pull the prank. Then when fans walk in, the songstress pops up and asks, “What can we get you?” The unsuspecting fan lets out a massive shriek and Grande treats her to a hug and a selfie. “today made my heart so happy,” the soon-to-be “good witch” posted. “i can’t wait to share more soon but for now… just this. i’ve watched 100 times. thank you for coming to our @r.e.m. beauty ice cream shoppe ! it will be open til Thursday !”

The surprise meet-and-greet happened in honor of R.E.M. Beauty’s new Sweetener Foundation line. At the shop, fans were able to have their skin tone matched to a shade of Grande’s foundation, grab a free ice cream and snap up some limited-edition merch.
