Old Dominion joined forces with Christian rockers NEEDTOBREATHE to unleash an energetic collaboration on Thursday (August 31). The “I Was On A Boat That Day” band is featured on “Wasting Time,” one of two tracks released from NEEDTOBREATHE’S forthcoming record.

“We’re so excited to share these songs with y’all before the album is out, and we’re honored to collaborate with these crazy talented artists,” NEEDTOBREATHE announced on Thursday, referencing “Temporary Tears” with Foy Vance, in addition to the Old Dominion collab, “Huge thanks to our friends Foy Vance & the guys in Old Dominion for helping us bring these songs to the world!”

“How many hallelujahs will it take for you get in line/ When will you ever learn from your mistakes boy you gotta try/ Deadlines and progress / Just being honest / You can do what you want with your time/ I ain't gonna waste mine/ No, I ain't gonna waste mine”

NEEDTOBREATHE announced their ninth studio album, Caves, last month. The album is one that the South Carolina-based band described as “our most ambitious yet,” also featuring collaborations with Judah & the Lion and Carly Pearce. Caves is set to release on September 15. Listen to the collaboration with Old Dominion here:
