George Strait announced a new list of extended tour dates with fellow award-winning country hitmakers Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town. Strait is set to headline nine stadiums across the U.S. in 2024, the Texas-born music legend announced as he posted details on Tuesday (September 12). Tickets are set to go on sale next Friday, September 22.

“I’ve always said we have the best fans in the world, and to see so many of them show up for these shows just makes us want to keep bringing them more,” Strait said, per his record label, also noting that he would play the 37th installment of his Strait to Vegas show. “I’ve also missed performing in Las Vegas during NFR, so I’m happy to see that show come together in 2024. See you soon!”

The newly-announced shows extend a few previously-performed dates that Strait, Stapleton and Little Big Town — Karen FairchildPhillip SweetKimberly Schlapman and Jimi Westbrook — played together earlier this year. Those stops included Arizona, Wisconsin, Washington, Colorado, Tennessee and Florida. This time, tour destinations include Indianapolis, Indiana; Charlotte, North Carolina; Detroit, Michigan; Salt Lake City, Utah; Las Vegas, Nevada and others:

“When I walk through those curtains and see those smiling faces, my feet don’t touch the ground again ‘til I walk back out and get on that bus that got me there. That’s from a song I wrote called ‘I’ll Always Remember You.’ It’s a true statement,” Strait told Billboard of the 2023 tour announcement in late 2022, per a press release issued at that time. “When we talked about doing these six shows next year with Chris, it was a no brainer for me. I was all in.”
