Ashley McBryde: 'Sober For A Year'

Ashley McBryde is achieving new career heights every day - and personal heights as well. In a recent interview with Kelleigh Bannen, Ashley shared that she's been sober from alcohol for more than a year now.

"I didn't check the counter, and I haven't, but it's, it's four hundred and fifty something days," she shares.

She went on to say she hadn't wanted to tell anyone for fear of failing. "What a white knuckle time to sit down and talk," she said, "but I really didn't want to talk to anybody about it, even lightly, until a year had passed." McBryde was worried about "screwing it up," she says, adding "but it's so wonderful" now.
