Watch Lady A React To Their Throwback Red Carpet Looks From 15 Years Ago

Lady A took a stroll down memory lane, looking back at a few 15-year-old photographs with inspiration from their latest single. The beloved country trio — made up of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood — reflected on their award shows looks in 2008.

The band said they would go through old photos “and see if they can love us back,” nodding to “Love You Back,” which made its debut last month. As Scott opened a photo album, she exclaimed, “I’m wearing a tie… It’s like a power suit,” as she, Kelley and Haywood walked the CMT Music Awards red carpet and attended the 42nd annual CMA Awards, both of which took place in 2008. Scott also remembered that “this CMA Awards, we took our moms.”

Lady A released “Love You Back” in September, and have recently teased more new music on the way. The trio’s next era of music will follow previously-released fan-favorites, like “Need You Now,” “Downtown,” “I Run To You,” “Summer State of Mind,” “What If I Never Get Over You,” “American Honey,” “You Look Good” and other career-spanning hits.
