LeAnn Rimes Mourns Loss Of Her Stepfather In Heartfelt Tribute

LeAnn Rimes shared a throwback photo with a heartfelt tribute to her late stepfather as she mourned his loss in an Instagram post on Wednesday night (October 11). The Grammy Award-winning artist remembered her stepdad, Ted, for his “joy and childlike heart,” who always offered his encouragement and loved Christmas music.
Rimes, 41, posted a throwback snapshot with Ted on one slide, and a photo of Ted with her mother, Belinda, on the other. Rimes quickly garnered messages from fans expressing their sympathy and honoring Ted’s memory.
“goodbye, ted. rest well!” Rimes wrote. “your joy and childlike heart will forever be ingrained on mine. you encouraged me to be nothing but a kid when i had the whole world of adult expectations on my shoulders. you gave me a space to play and be loved in the fullness of my being and for that, i am forever grateful. i won the lottery when it came to stepdads!!! i love you… forever!
