Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the Carolina Reaper to graciously yield its title, for a fresh, scorching sensation has emerged in the realm of fiery peppers!

Introducing the remarkable 'Pepper X,' a groundbreaking crossbreed that has notched a remarkable achievement by smashing the Guinness World Record for the most incendiary pepper on Earth.

This fiery newcomer boasts an astounding Scoville Heat Unit rating of over 2.6 million, leaving the former record-holder, the Carolina Reaper, in the dust with its comparatively mild 1.6 million Scoville Heat Units.

An intriguing tidbit: both of these searing specimens can be attributed to the same individual – the pepper-breeding virtuoso and expert, Ed Currie.
